Los Trastornos del Sueño como Alteraciones Discapacitantes en la Población General

Los trastornos del sueño son alteraciones que secundariamente limitan el desarrollo cotidiano adecuado de la actividad física e intelectual de quienes los padecen, por lo cual se les considera como alteraciones discapacitantes. En la presente revisión se analiza la clasificación de los trastornos del sueño y como cada alteración produce efectos funcionales deshabilitantes. En forma separada se proponen diversas estrategias para la atención en rehabilitación de los trastornos del sueño.
