Investigación en Discapacidad is edited by the Luis Guillermo Ibarra Ibarra National Institute of Rehabilitation in Mexico City. This is an open access journal with no fees for either submission, processing or publication.

The journal adheres to the Recommendations for the Conduct, Reporting, Editing, and Publication of Scholarly Work in Medical Journals from the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE).

Both print (ISSN 2007-6452) and online (eISSN 2992-779X) versions of the journal are available.
